Gift Wrapping Service

Smart Start Toys offers a gift wrapping service which includes one card with your own personal message.

Just place your order in the usual way, and the option for 'gift wrapping' will appear while ordering. You will also be asked to provide details regarding the gift(s) and card - please let us know age, gender and occasion and your personal message to the recipient(s). The recipient(s) will receive the card in hand written script.  Our wrapping paper is always bright, cheerful and fun and chosen to fit the occasion, gender and age of the child(ren).

Unfortunately we are unable to offer gift wrapping for some of our larger items.

Order Code policy

Smart Start Toys assigns order codes to enable our customers to enjoy the benefits of special discounts and other promotions. Our customers are reminded that all Smart Start Toys order codes are non-transferable and remain the property of the company at all times. Unless otherwise stated, Smart Start Toys order codes are only valid against full price merchandise, and also for single use only. Order codes can not be used in conjunction with any other special offers or discounts.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Please make cheques payable to Smart Start Toys. Send your cheque with a written confirmation of your order and the order number on the back of the cheque to: Smart Start Toys, 64 Palesgate Lane, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 3HF

Credit cards will not be charged until the goods are ready for dispatch, but please note that for security reasons cheques are banked on receipt. Orders paid for by cheque will be dispatched as soon as the cheque has been cleared.

All items are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Returns Policy

Smart Start Toys endeavours to offer the highest quality of products and service. If you are in any way dissatisfied with any of our products, the item can be returned within 10 days of receipt, unopened and in its original condition, and we will provide a full refund. Please remember to obtain a proof of posting and please include all your correspondence details within the parcel.

Please note that we can only offer refunds for opened items if they are defective. Please contact us first before returning a defective item.

Except in the case of a defective item, the customer cannot be reimbursed for P&P or returns postage as this is a direct cost.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Cancellation of order

You may cancel an order that has not already been processed by emailing enquiries@smartstart-toys.co.uk.

Any cancellations made after processing but prior to shipping will be charged an administration fee of 15%

Safety

Everything we sell conforms to EU Toy Safety regulations and many items are already in daily use within UK schools.  Non toxic paints and varnishes or vegetable dyes are used on all toys. Toys with small parts are classified as suitable for children over 3 years; where a product is for decorative purposes only, it is classified as 'not a toy' and so not suitable for handling by young children.

Recycling

We are always looking for ways to reduce waste and recycle all materials used in our offices and warehouse. We consistently strive to reduce packaging of individual toys and also we aim to recycle packaging materials as far as possible.
